Behind the design
One day in our Philly studio—surrounded by colorful prints and canvases—we noticed that the plain black slipmat that came with our turntable simply wasn't passing the vibe check.
So we asked the question: what if we made our own?
After some research, we realized that artist-designed slipmats were surprisingly hard to find—especially ones that felt bold, joyful, and design-forward. We started prototyping, refining materials, and dialing in the process until we landed on something we truly loved that measured up to the quality standards we hold ourselves to.
The result? The June Drop slipmat collection.
What even is a slipmat?
A slipmat is the felt circle that sits between your record and the turntable platter. It helps protect your vinyl, improves playback, and allows records to spin smoothly.
For record aficionados, turntables are truly a centerpiece of the home- literally bringing vibrational energy and rhythm into their space.
