the june drop
In nature, the "june drop" is when small, immature fruit falls off trees in late spring/early summer. Essentially, it is nature's way of getting rid of an overload of fruit.
In the studio, "the june drop" reflects the joy of these seasons in its designs. With fruit and flora as common subject matter, the june drop is our way of sharing "fruit overload" with the world.

the june drop designs are all limited edition- authenticated, signed, and numbered.
canvas prints are 1 of 10, while matte paper prints are 1 of 50.
first, we print our artist-drawn designs on raw canvas.
then, each frame is carefully hand-built using durable wooden stretcher bars.
after sealing with clearcoat polyurethane mix, the print is left out to dry.
finally, using color matching and a meticulous hand, finishing touches are done to correct any imperfections from the printing process.
Our prints do not come framed.
While you can frame our editions, you don't need to. They are ready-to-hang.
We recommend framing paper prints.
Each edition is professionally crafted by the human hand and truly unique. Our editions are printed on canvas and during that process, imperfections can occur... for example, if a thread causes an unexpected mark. We carefully apply color-matched paint to correct these kinds of blemishes but there is the potential for small differences between prints.

our story
Philly-based husband and wife pair, Stephen and Rachel D'Onofrio have spent years dreaming up a new brand that would offer quality art without the unattainable price tags.
with Stephen's background in fine Art and Rachel's passion for design and branding, the june drop was founded in 2025 as a carefully curated marketplace that embodies the spirit of spring and summer: depicting fruit, flora, and other cheerful objects.
married on June 4th, Stephen and Rachel agree decidedly that the fleeting transition between May and June is the best time of year: full of anticipation, warmth, and bountiful daylight. the june drop's inspiration and cadence of our drops are rooted in this essence.
