Ceramic "June Drop Wingdings" Vase

A true one-of-a-kind art piece, each ceramic vase is wheel-thrown, hand-painted, glazed, and fired in Philadelphia.

Our "June Drop Wingdings" draw inspiration from Y2K pop art and modern digital symbols, integrated within the timeless art of pottery. Each pattern is almost identical, with intentional variation, embracing the storytelling tradition of ancient painted pottery and playfully leaving room for individual interpretation.

In partnership with ceramicist, Devin Brown, and Yay Clay, each piece is wheel-thrown locally, and later hand-painted (with 3 coats of glaze) in our Fishtown art studio. It is then glazed and fired at cone 6.

Note: Cone 6 reaches over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit- ensuring durability and a unique one-of-a-kind finish. Natural variations in color and pattern occur and highlight the artistry and intricate ceramic process.
